TCC PRESENTS Vol.33

We, the Tokyo Clarinet Choir (TCC), are a permanent amateur clarinet ensemble consisting of about 40 clarinet players. Our members range in age from students to working adults to retirees...and we enjoy playing in a large clarinet ensemble every week.

TCC is unique in that it does not include percussion or strings, and uses only six clarinets of various sizes: Eb clarinet, Bb clarinet, alto clarinet, bass clarinet, contra-alto clarinet, and contrabass clarinet.

Although there are "only" clarinets, we hear brass and sometimes percussion instruments as well...to the surprise of our customers.
We have also given 8 concerts in Vienna so far, and thankfully we have a fixed fan base there!

On Monday nights, on your way home from work, or to relieve your daily stress... why not be soothed by the sound of a relaxing clarinet? The conductor will be happy to chat with you, and we will play familiar pieces. A Beethoven symphony played only by clarinet?　If you are curious about this, please come and join us!
