Maestro Kobayashi's first "Carmina Burana" in a long time, where raging rhythms are exchanged.

For the first time in 20 years, Kenichiro Kobayashi will perform "Carmina Burana" by the 20th century composer Orff at the Tokyo Subscription Concert. This is a very unique work with a series of fascinating pieces, including the first piece "Oh, Fateful Goddess," which is often used in the media and is familiar to everyone who hears it. The music of our time is truly music of our time, with Orff's first-rate rhythmic and "repetitive" use of sometimes sacred and sometimes radically secular lyrics written in medieval Europe. We look forward to hearing Maestro Kobayashi's intensification of this already dramatic work. The chorus, which plays a very important role in this work, will be made up of young chorus members from the Tokyo College of Music.
