32 bright clouds

An international musical project that commissions, performs, and records works under the supervision of pianist Yael Weiss. The theme of the new works is unified by the "peace motif" that Beethoven wrote on the score of his "Missa solemnis": "Pray for inner peace and outer peace. Each piece is also linked to one of Beethoven's piano sonatas. 32 Bright Clouds" aims to bring about peace and unity through the great power of music.
On the occasion of the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth in 2020, Wyeth presented a 12-hour online concert based on this project, linking new compositions by composers from 13 different countries with Beethoven's sonatas.
This concert is based on that project
