The second concert in the 10th anniversary concert series of the Japan-France Contemporary Music Society is a chamber music concert featuring works by members of the society from Japan and France, performed by a splendid lineup of member musicians.
From France, we will present works by Alain Gaussin, honorary president of the association, and two young composers, Banjaman Ataille and Florent Caron-Dallas, both of whom are highly acclaimed in Europe. From Japan, a variety of new works and premieres by members of the association will be presented. In addition, the works of Masayuki Nagatomi and Akira Tamba, who were great bridges between Japan and France, will be performed and commented on by their pupils who were trained by them.
