Monthly Concert is a series of monthly concerts held at the Osaka Club, a retro building in Yodoyabashi, under the concept of "18th century music in a salon. The first concert was held on March 17, 1968. Although ridiculed as "musicians off the stage," we started the series with the intention of lowering the barriers to classical music, and have continued to invite many well-known performers, including violinist Gerhard Bosse. In recent years, popular performances have become "an annual tradition," with the New Year's Concert in January, Standard Jazz in February, Taiji Takada Recital in March and December, and Chanson sung in French in September each becoming a regular feature.
