We are pleased to announce the regular concert of Setagaya Obochamaz!
This year's concert is the 12th in the series, which was revived this year after the Corona Disaster.
The name of the group is loose, but it is a serious group, formed by the clarinet part alumni of the Setagaya Gakuen Junior and Senior High School Brass Band.
Setagaya Gakuen is a strong clarinet ensemble school that has regularly won gold medals at national competitions, and its golden generation is still playing as adults.
Although it is an amateur group, it has also produced several professionals? Are they inadvertently mixed in? One of the members, an active clarinetist of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, is scheduled to play one or more pieces in this concert.
Also, the Oktoberfest is being held at the nearby Red Brick Warehouse on the same day.
We would be happy if you could visit the festival, even if you are just going for a beer!
(I went to Oktoberfest last year and it was a lot of fun...singing toasts with everyone and drinking ridiculously large glasses of beer!)
