Akira Yamazaki Saxophone Recital Tour 2023 [Kumamoto, Japan

Silence and Sound

2023/10/27(Fr.) 19:00 Starting

Kumamoto Prefectural Theater Concert Hall FoyerKumamoto

The "Akira Yamazaki Saxophone Recital Tour" has been held every year since 2015, and last year, in particular, the entire program was performed with an orchestra.... Last year, in particular, we performed the entire program with an orchestra, which was an extraordinary event even when I think about it now and gave me great confidence.
This year, I will be performing a solo concert titled "Silence and Sound".
Depending on the venue, I may invite guests, but I will basically perform the entire program as a soloist.
Usually, a piano player or an ensemble is required, but this year's co-star will be "Silence"... or "Ma" as it is also called.
The sound of each venue will be different, and the way the sound resonates and the way the instruments play will be different, which will give the audience a completely different sense of the "pause".

We hope you will enjoy the experience.
