Cosima Musica Collegia was founded in 1992 as a voluntary organization. The founder, Hideo Kojima (former concertmaster of the Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra), wanted to "give young musicians of the future a chance to perform on stage with an orchestra," which led to the organization of more than 30 concerts based in Hiroshima City, where more than 200 young musicians have made their debut. The "Music Vacation Village" will once again return to its roots. Please give a warm round of applause to the talented junior soloists who have been selected from a nationwide competition! The theme for the finals is "Music and Dance," and we will present a number of masterpieces for string ensemble.
