Ensemble LEMON
LEMON was founded in March 2014 under the direction of Goichi Hiramatsu.
During its junior and senior high school years, the group won the Gold Prize in the preliminary round and the Silver Prize in the final round of the Junior High School Division of the 80th NHK National School Music Competition in Tokyo, as well as the Gold Prize in the Senior High School Division of the 66th All Japan Chorus Competition, Tokyo Branch Competition. The group has given nine subscription concerts, Lemon Irokonsato, and salon concerts, and has performed at the Tokyo Chorus Festival, the Setagaya Chorus Festival, and mini-concerts at senior citizen facilities and nursery schools. In June of this year, they will perform in the "Japan Chorus Conductors Association 60th Anniversary Special Concert.

Goichi Hiramatsu, Conductor
Graduated from the instrumental music department of Tokyo University of the Arts. He studied clarinet under Katsusuke Mishima and Kunio Chiba. After performing freelance with the Tokyo Symphonic Band and others, he has taught at junior high schools, high schools, and universities. In 1982, he formed the Hiramatsu Mixed Chorus. In 1982, he formed the Hiramatsu Mixed Chorus and has been active as its leader and conductor. He won the Gold Prize in the All Japan Chorus Competition. In Vienna, he won the second prize and a special prize at the Schubert International Chorus Competition. In 2022, he will hold a concert to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Hiramatsu Mixed Chorus and the 50th anniversary of his career in choral music. He has premiered many composers to high acclaim. He has premiered more than 200 compositions. He teaches choral music throughout Japan and also serves as a judge for the All Japan Chorus Competition. He is the conductor of Hiramatsu Mixed Chorus and ensemble LEMON. He is the vice president of the Setagaya Ward Chorus Union. He is a member of the Japan Chorus Conductors Association.
