Catalan winds

A chamber music concert featuring works by Spanish Catalan composer Federico Mompou will be held at the Oe Noh Theater, which boasts over 100 years of history.
Most of Mompou's works are piano pieces and songs, but this concert will not simply present a retrospective of his works, but will also include guitar and chamber music works by Mompou, and chamber music works by Japanese composers inspired by Mompou and the image of Catalonia. The performers will be the internationally and domestically acclaimed guitarist Shinichiro Tokunaga, Janne Tateno, soloist of the Nagaokakyo Chamber Ensemble, one of Kyoto Prefecture's leading performing groups, and a string quartet formed by the ensemble's members, performing in collaboration.
