Quartet Explore was formed at the end of 2013 by four members of the same generation who have known each other since their college days.

Since its formation, the group has toured the country every year, giving performances in Fukuoka, Kitakyushu, Moji, Nogata, Shimonoseki, Hiroshima, Matsuyama, Osaka, Toyonou, and Nagoya, as well as regular performances in Tokyo with support from the Affinis Cultural Foundation and the Agency for Cultural Affairs, which have been a great success.
