Ponopono Band
A musical ensemble that organizes rhythmic concerts for people to enjoy music spontaneously amidst the warm sounds of Ponopono. Formed by members who graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae. Based on the concept of having children enjoy music in a warm and relaxing atmosphere, they plan and hold concerts for parents and children that incorporate rhythmic music. The members are Yuko Sakuma, a rhythmic instructor; Maiko Kawashima, a piano player; Yuri Masuko, a flutist; and Akiko Izumida, a bassoonist.

Yuko Sakuma (singer, emcee, rhythmic instructor)
Born in Niigata Prefecture. Graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae. Studied saxophone under Katsuki Tochio.
Completed the Eurhythmic Research Center, a non-profit organization. Obtained Diploma A of Teaching Certification.
As a rhythmic instructor, she teaches at kindergartens, nursery schools, and music schools in Tokyo.

Yuri Masuko (Flute)
Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae. Completed the Ecole Normale Superieure de Musique in Paris.
