Yoshiya Tanaka ◆ Baritone
Born in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. Graduated from Osaka College of Music. Graduated from Osaka College of Music and completed the graduate course at the same university. Tanaka made his opera debut as Rodrigo in "Don Carlo" conducted by the late Takashi Asahina. Since then, he has sung the leading roles in many operas.
He has also entered the field of musicals, most notably as Jean Valjean and Javert in "Les Misérables" (currently touring the country in concert form). In the concert field, he has sung soloists for Beethoven's "Ninth" and "Solemn Mass," Mozart's "Requiem" and "Crowning Mass," Fauré's "Requiem," Haydn's "Theresia Mass," Bruckner's "Mass No. 3," Verdi's "Requiem," Bach's "Mass in B minor," and many others. He is also active in the world of choral music, directing the mixed chorus "Camellia", the female chorus "Nishiyama Honey Chorus", and the Tennoji Ward Citizens' Chorus. He has also served as a judge for various competitions, including the NHK National School Music Competition, the International Vocal Music Competition in Tokyo, and the Yangtze and Great Wall Cups International Competitions.
He was a domestic trainee of the Agency for Cultural Affairs in 1989. He is one of the leading baritone singers in Kansai. He is currently a professor at Osaka College of Music. He is also vice-chairman of the Kansai Opera Company.

Mari Yazaki ◆ Piano
Graduated from Osaka College of Music at the top of her class. Completed the graduate course at Osaka College of Music. She has performed at the Yomiuri Newcomers Concert and various other concerts for newcomers. She won the first prize at the 31st Claude Kahn Piano Competition in Paris. Performed at the prize-winning performance in Salle Gaveau. Performed at the 116th Nichi-En-Ren Recommendation Concert at Izumi Hall. In 1997, she appeared in four concerts in Paris and Chartres as a goodwill ambassador (Japan Year in France). Recitals in Paris in 1998, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017 in Osaka. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras and given concerts in various cities, and is also active as an accompanist for vocal music and as a chamber musician. She is also actively involved in contemporary music and has premiered many works. After serving as a lecturer at Nara Women's University and an assistant teacher and performer at Osaka College of Music, she is currently a part-time lecturer at Osaka College of Music, its graduate school, and the music department of Nara Prefectural Takayen High School of Arts. She is a member of the Japan Federation of Musicians' Associations and the Japan Piano Teachers' Association.
