Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts High School of Music, and then from the instrumental music department of the same university. He completed the master's course at the same university, receiving the Acanthus Music Prize. He is a teaching and research assistant in the wind and percussion department at the same university.
Second prize at the 9th Junior Saxophone Competition. He won the third prize in the chamber music section of the 9th Romanian International Music Competition. Second prize in the Salzburg Mozart International Chamber Music Competition 2017 in the general category. 2nd Prize in the Ensemble Division of the 14th Kurashiki International Saxophone Competition.
2nd Prize. Semifinalist at the 8th Slovenian International Music Competition and the 4th Andorra International Saxophone Competition.
He has studied saxophone under Katsuki Tochio, Hitomi Hara, Kimitaka Hirano, and Masashi Oshiro, and chamber music under Hitomi Hara, Unity Nakamura, Kazuo Tomioka, and Nobuchi Sugawa.
He has participated in many concerts and recordings as an extra in orchestras and brass bands.
He is also active in the Parero Saxophone Quartet, for which he plays baritone, and gives concerts several times a year, including collaborations with other genres.
