Rousseau, Chagall, and Matisse are painters who share a common interest in "music.
In this special exhibition, six oil paintings by Henri Rousseau, 11 works from Marc Chagall's poetry collection "Poems," and 18 works from Henri Matisse's "Jazz" will be exhibited together, and related events related to music and the exhibited works will be held.
The "Kunstwerker Trio Concert" will be held as part of this collaborative project.
The Kunstwerker Trio was formed by pianist Satoko Migame with violinist Ryo Mikami and cellist Keita Takagi, both members of the Saito Kinen Orchestra.
Kunstwerker" means "people who create works of art" in German.
The three contemporary "Kunstwerker" will depict the world of music loved by the three painters.
