The 3rd Award Commemorative Concert

[Aiming for a dream performance with an orchestra!
In this concert, the gold award winners of the "Kyotanabe City Music Competition" in each category from pre-school children to general public will perform with an orchestra.

Guest performer will be Mr. Hibiki Tamura.
Mr. Hibiki Tamura, an internationally acclaimed pianist and winner of the Ron Thibault International Competition, will perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 "Emperor" in the first movement as a guest performer. Mr. Hibiki Tamura is the President of the Jury of this competition.

What is the Kyotanabe City Music Competition?
The Kyotanabe City Music Competition is a piano competition held in Kyotanabe City, Kyoto Prefecture. The most unique feature of the competition is that the gold prize winners in each category receive a dream experience of performing with an orchestra without a ticket quota.
Although it has only been held for a short period of time, the competition has grown to reach its maximum number of 170 participants in one month after the information about the competition was made public.
In this "The 3rd Awards Commemorative Concert," 13 winners from the pre-school to general and professional categories who have passed the preliminary round in January and the final round in March 2023 will perform together with the professional orchestra "IKKYU Philharmonic" established by the foundation of IKKYU. You will be able to enjoy the performance of pianists who will be making their mark in the future.
