Ensemble Consorte

The 38th Concert

2023/08/20(su.) 14:00 Starting

Tiara Koto Main HallTokyo

Official http://econ.sakura.ne.jp/

We, "Ensemble Consorte", started full-scale activities in January 2004, mainly composed of friends who have met in various orchestras. The word "Consorte" means "friends" in Italian, and it expresses our wish to create wonderful human relationships (friends) through the musical activity of an orchestra.

We have been active as a small orchestra with a type-8, two-orchestra formation since our establishment. Currently, we have two main policies: "Aggressive challenge to Haydn's symphonies" and "Romanticism challenged by a small orchestra". In this concert, the orchestra will perform the Schumann Cello Concerto with cellist Yoshifumi Murono of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, Haydn's Symphony No. 30, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 7.
We hope you will enjoy the unique sound of our small ensemble.
