Port Island Classic Mari Ichihashi Piano Concert

Graduated from Aichi Prefectural Meiwa High School, Department of Music, and Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Instrumental Music, Piano Major. Currently enrolled in the second year of a master's program in piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim. She has performed piano with Miyuki Kawai, Takashi Kume, Mayumi Kato, Emi Takemoto, Yuri Maeda, Koki Shimizu, Rei Eguchi, and Wolfram-Schmitt-Leonardy, chamber music with Katsuya Matsubara and Kazuo Irie, and piano duo with Kazuo Kadono.
She studied chamber music with Katsuya Matsubara and Kazuo Irie, and piano duo with Yutaka Kakuno. She won the second prize at the 24th Pietro Argento International Music Competition (Italy). First prize at the 4th Verona International Music Prize "LÀSZLÒ SPEZZAFERRI". Second prize at the 24th Huppel-Tosu Piano Competition. Yokohama Citizen's Prize at the All Japan Music Competition for Junior High School Students. She has won prizes in numerous competitions, including the 2nd Prize in the Nagoya High School Students' Competition. Performed in the 46th "Geidai Regular Chamber Music Concert" and the Yomiuri Chubu Newcomers Concert. She performed Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Chubu Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Yukiji Yoshida, and Schumann Piano Concerto with the Amabie Sinfonietta under the direction of Tomohiko Imaki and the Master Orchestra (Italy) under the direction of Sergio Baietta. She has given recitals not only in Japan but also in Germany and Italy, and has received high acclaim in the Rheinzeitung and many other newspapers. She is currently based in Japan and Germany.
