Farewell Song" Cinema & Recital

Part 1: Screening of the film "Farewell Song" (91 min.)
This legendary film depicts the love and youth of Chopin, the "poet of the piano," and is the origin of the name of Etude No. 3, "The Farewell Song!
The French version of this film, produced in 1934, was released in Japan the following year in 1935 and became a big hit. (It was ranked No. 8 in the "Kinema Junpo" top ten in the same year.)

Part 2: Yoshihiro Kondo Piano Recital
Yoshihiro Kondo, one of Japan's leading pianists both in Japan and abroad, will perform a piano recital.
He will perform a number of Chopin's masterpieces in a rich and varied program.
