The Pleasure of Chamber Music 2023
Violin, Contrabass, Piano
2023/09/17(su.) 14:00 Starting

A trio concert with an unusual composition of violin (Noriko Kawamura), contrabass (Fumio Shirado) and piano (Mio Kubo).
The tones spun out by these two string players, whom I respect with all my heart, are truly wonderful, gently and deeply penetrating into the hearts of those who listen.
The sound released from the three instruments quietly and sometimes humorously interacts with each other to breathe life into the good works that have survived through the long history, bringing the player and the audience closer and closer, and eventually filling the small music salon with the warmth of music and people without any boundaries. We have planned this event with the hope that as many people as possible will be able to share in this extraordinary and wonderful time of quiet joy.
I myself have been playing the piano for more than 40 years since I was a child. In this concert, which will be my first in many years after the gap of the Corona Disaster, I hope to return to the origins of music in many ways, and to put my heart and soul into each and every thing I do, carefully and sincerely tackling my handiwork.
There will be two performances (same program), one in the afternoon and one in the evening, but we expect that the seats for the afternoon performance will fill up first, so please register early. The following day is a national holiday, so the evening performance is also highly recommended as it is likely to have relatively more seats available.
For inquiries and reservations, please use the QR code on the flyer, or visit Mio Kubo's website and blog!
The back side of the flyer could not be posted here, so please refer to our blog, etc.
