C. Debussy: Pelléas et Mélisande

The program will tour the French Impressionist composer C. Debussy's only opera, "Pelléas et Mélisande," and will feature songs and opera highlights.

The first part of the program will tour Pelléas et Mélisande, featuring songs from "Flowers," "Three Songs of Bilitis," and "Sleepless Night. The second part will feature highlights from Pelleas et Melisande in a concert format with piano accompaniment.

The pianist will be Moemasa Ueno, a second-year student at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris and choreographer for this summer's Aix-en-Provence International Summer Music Festival in France, Melisande will be played by Chiaaki Sakamoto, a leading French composer who is currently teaching at the Tokyo University of the Arts, and Pelleas will be played by The role of Golaud will be played by Masashi Tanaka, who is active in many fields, including first place in this year's Sogakudo Japanese Song Competition, and the role of Inyold will be played by Miu Ogawa, who graduated first in her class from the Tokyo University of the Arts and is currently a student at the same graduate university. Ms. Miu Ogawa, who graduated at the top of her class from Tokyo University of the Arts and is currently enrolled in its graduate school, will play the role of Iniold.
