On the occasion of the 15th anniversary recital

After my 10th anniversary recital back home in 2018, the most important connection I have had in the five years since then has been the fortepiano. Since Mr. Akira Kubota, the maker of the instrument, gave me a Christofori fortepiano and said, "Please take it for the time being," I have had a series of encounters and learning experiences with new music.
I would like to share with you again on fortepiano the music of Germany, where I have deep memories as a student for 7 years, and Portugal, a country I made a connection with after my study abroad. Between Germany and Portugal, I will be playing contemporary music by my friend and composer Hideyasu Endo.
At the venue, we will exhibit Portuguese-related art works and accessories from the collection of Mr. Earl Ramo, whom we met through our relationship in Portugal. We hope to present our journey to Germany and Portugal with the sounds of the fortepiano on stage and with beautiful paintings in the lobby, and to use the entire venue to express our own "connection, 15 years".
We hope to celebrate this milestone with you on a midsummer evening reminiscent of Portugal.
