The Kanagawa Chamber Orchestra, founded by the Kanagawa Prefecture Musicians' Association, held its inaugural concert in August 2022 with Yuichi Honda, the second prize winner of the 15th Danube International Conducting Competition, as conductor. The concert was very well received.
This summer, we will hold a summer concert with Hana Hasegawa, a remarkable young bassoonist who won the third prize in the bassoon section of the Muri International Competition (Switzerland) and the commissioned work prize, and is currently a guest with prestigious orchestras in Europe.
Please do not miss Mendelssohn's masterpiece "Symphony No. 4 Italia" and Hana Hasegawa's performance of Weber's Bassoon Concerto!
