Nobue Kanekawa began playing the piano at an early age and started playing the clarinet at the age of 12. Graduated from Kunitachi College of Music. Completed a master class at the Kunitachi College of Music in Zurich, Switzerland, with a full tuition scholarship. She won the Excellence Prize at the 1st Romantic Music Competition (without the Grand Prix), and has also won prizes at several other competitions and passed auditions. Performed in "Talking Concert," "Concert for Children," "The World of Storytelling and Music," "Japan Contemporary Music Exhibition," etc. Recital". Her "free and easy concert series" at cafes and galleries, in which she performs unaccompanied clarinet solos incorporating photographs, and her "Music and Image" live-streaming program have been well received and she has given numerous performances.
