Mariko Takahashi (cello) and Takeshi Yamada (piano) will perform their first Beethoven series with gut strings and fortepiano.
The fortepiano "Dürken" (1815, Neupert, Germany) from the Bechstein collection will be used.
The two performers will perform works by Beethoven, whose "Yoshio Mamiya: Works for Cello and Piano" (released in 2021 as part of the 76th Japan Arts Festival) was highly acclaimed in the press, including as a "semi-selected disc" by Record Geijutsu and a "recommended disc" by Asahi Shimbun.
The first two people to register for the concert will receive a signed CD of "Yoshio Mamiya's Works for Cello and Piano" as a free gift.
