Puck Percussion" is an opportunity to enjoy the profound world of percussion instruments. This year's guest performer is Thomas Lechner, a solo timpanist with the Vienna Philharmonic, one of the most prestigious orchestras in the world!
The concert will feature a wide variety of percussion pieces, including "Kuka Ilimoku," inspired by the Hawaiian god of war; a concerto by Thelichen, in which Lechner and PAC members will play timpani together; "Sculpture 3," in which the beautiful sounds of the marimba can be enjoyed; and "Jose/Before John 5," which begins with hand claps and features a variety of instruments. and a wide variety of other percussion works. In addition, Mayer's "Horizons" is a commissioned work created for this performance. Performed by Lechner and PAC members, it will have its world premiere in Hyogo!
