A blazing stage woven with dance and music

Maestro Michiyoshi Inoue, who has announced his retirement in 2024, will finally perform his last subscription concert with PAC! The program he has chosen is an all-Stravinsky program bursting with vivid rhythms and harmonies.
Stravinsky's ballet "The Kiss of the Fairy" is set deep in the Swiss mountains and tells the story of a beautiful fairy queen and a young man whose encounter with her leads him to a tragic fate.
In addition, Maestro Inoue's performance of the ballet music "The Firebird," which is still fresh in the memory from the June 2021 performance, will be performed this time with dance. The ballet will be performed by Kaiji Moriyama, a leading figure in the contemporary dance scene, Miwa Motoshima, a former principal of the New National Theatre Ballet, and other outstanding dancers.
Maestro Inoue has led the PAC to many masterful performances with his passionate and dramatic diction. The finale of the festival will be a spectacular musical finale that will flap its wings and blaze up into the sky!
