Takumiki Nashimoto
Born in Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture.
From an early age, he was taught to play the piano by famous pianists such as Yukio Yokoyama, Masahiro Saito, and Hiroshi Takezawa. He studied under Hideto Nishikawa and Atsuko Okada in the piano performance course at Tokyo College of Music High School. While in school, he was selected as a special scholarship student and received an honor prize upon graduation. He then entered the Faculty of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts, where he studied piano with Rei Eguchi and improvisation with Kimitaka Hirano. While still a student, he organized many self-organized concerts, including the "Shinshu Music College Students Club" of music college students from Nagano Prefecture. Since his student days, he has been actively involved in art activities that transcend genres, such as participating in incidental music for video works and collaborating with architecture and Japanese painting.
After graduating from university, he studied at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Hungary as a Hungarian government scholarship student. He graduated with a Master's degree and a National Performer's Certificate under Karlman Drafi with first class honors. Performed in concerts at the Budapest Palace of Arts (MÜPA), the Grand Hall of the Conservatory, and other venues. She has also been active internationally, performing in front of Princess Kako Akishino when she visited Budapest, and holding concerts that connect Japan and Hungary.
She won the grand prize at the 24th Nagano Piano Competition. She won the 3rd prize at the All Japan Student Music Competition in Tokyo. She participated in the Bartók International Piano Competition in Budapest, and won second prize at the Franz Liszt Center Piano Competition in Spain. She won the second prize at the 4th Nohant Festival Chopin Competition and the special "Bechstein Salon Prize".
In recent years, he has been performing solo and chamber music, as well as collaborating with Hubert Soudant xensemble NOVA, Toshiyuki Kudo x Suzaka City Mecenat Hall Orchestra, and Gábor Horváth x Pironi Chamber Orchestra (Hungary).
He released his first album "Kotonoha Music" from Studio N.A.T. in 2022.
He has been a Meigakudo Supporting Artist since 2022. Representative of Office Kulte.
