SDA48, a viola performance group, was founded in 2013 with the concept of "raising awareness of the viola as an instrument and creating music that both listeners and players can truly enjoy. SDA48 has received a lot of media exposure, including a live performance on NHK's "La La La La♪ Classics" and NHK-FM's "Today, Viola for a Day". After a successful crowdfunding campaign for the production of a CD and the Corona Disaster, this recital will be a celebration of the release of the group's second album. In addition to the original pieces written for viola, Bowen's "Fantasy for Four Violas" and Jacob's "Suite for Eight Violas," the concert will include the overture to "William Tell," the "Little Overture," "March," "Trepak," "Waltz of the Flowers," "Sword Dance," "The Nutcracker" from Ave Verum Corpus", arranged by SDA48 member Kaori Iida.
