Fifty-six years ago, in the spring of 1967, the Kanagawa University Mandolin Ensemble "KME" (Kanagawa University Mandolin Club at that time) was born, and in November 1971, the first regular concert was held. Mandolin Ensemble Hamaroku
Hamaroku was formed in 2019 by alumni and former members of the Kanagawa University Mandolin Ensemble "KME". The name of the orchestra "Hamaroku" comes from "Yokohama Rokkakubashi", the hometown of Kanagawa University.
