The Bonds of Isaiah

A duo concert titled "The Bond of Ysaÿe" featuring the two winners of the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition (held in Brussels) will be held at the Across Fukuoka Symphony Hall (1-1-1 Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City).

The Elisabeth Competition is one of the three most prestigious competitions in the world and is known as one of the most difficult, having been founded in commemoration of the achievements of the Belgian-born violin virtuoso Ysaÿe. Its winners are always in the center of international attention.

In addition to solos by Yayoi Toda and Abdel Rahman El-Basha, the concert will also feature works by composers related to Ysaÿe, such as Kreisler and Enescu.
