Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra The 141st Subscription Concert Unofficial

Tatsuya Shimono is a well-known conductor who has led PAC to growth since its inception and delivers programs that bring discovery to the audience. This time he has prepared an all-British program.
The "Spitfire" Prelude and Fugue, composed by the 20th century composer Walton in 1942 during the Second World War, is an arrangement from a film score. The movie "Spitfire" is a biographical film about R.J. Mitchell, a British aeronautical engineer who created the famous fighter plane Spitfire. The powerful music, reminiscent of the courage of the fighter plane, is a spectacular way to open the concert.
Also featured is Edward Elgar, one of England's greatest composers. In addition to the violin concerto by the violinist, Elgar will perform his masterpiece "Enigma Variations," in which the enigmatic theme develops in a variety of ways, which made him famous throughout the world.
The soloist is the popular young violinist Fumiaki Miura. This will be the first time in five years since 2018 that the "Sanadamaru" duo will come together for a PAC subscription concert.
