Fast and furious rhythm! Delicate and precise technique! Sibelius by the gifted Darlene. A masterpiece "Hymn" with rich expression & a mysterious story woven into it.
In March 2019, at the age of 18, Juhan Dahlene won the first prize at the Carl Nielsen International Competition 2019. In November of the same year, he appeared at the New Japan Philharmonic's 621st Regular Concert, performing solo in Nielsen's Violin Concerto, receiving great acclaim for his high level of technique and musicality. Three years after her impressive debut in Japan, we are pleased to have the opportunity to perform with her again.
(There will be a performance of the same program on Monday, May 15 at Suntory Hall.
