Musical Meets Symphony DIVA Unofficial

The popular musical concert series "Musical Meets Symphony" featuring musical stars and full orchestra will be held on May 4 (Thu., national holiday) and 5 (Fri., national holiday) at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Main Hall.
　This year's special program, titled "DIVA = Diva," will bring together female musical stars from both Japan and Korea. From Japan, Seiko Niizuma, who continues to lead the Japanese musical world with her one-of-a-kind voice in roles such as Eponine in "Les Miserables" and Kim in "Miss Saigon," and Kiho Masai, former top girl in Takarazuka Revue's Snow Class who has performed in numerous popular productions including "Don Juan," "The Laughing Man" and "Love Song for an Angel. Kiho Maasa, a former top daughter of Takarazuka Revue's Snow Troupe, will appear in the production. From Korea, Ok Joo Hyun, who has played the title role in many productions including "Elisabeth", and Kim So Hyang, who played Marie Antoinette in the Korean version of "Marie Antoinette" and is known as a talented performer, will come to Japan and perform a selection of big numbers from their respective productions. The orchestra will also perform a program of the Japan Arts Festival. The orchestra will be led by the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, which has won many awards, including the Grand Prize at the Japan Arts Festival, and is attracting attention both in Japan and abroad, and will add gorgeous colors to their voices.
