It should be rare to hear Gia Cancelli and Schnittke, who lived as Prokofiev's next generation, on the same program! The effect of Fazil Say's characteristically beautiful internal playing is remarkable.
The second half was a single violin sonata by Strauss, a favorite of all pianists as well as violinists. After listening to the various worlds, you will be immersed in the royal works of the Romantic period.

Five years have passed since my debut 10th anniversary recital "All Prokofiev Program" in 2018.
We are very excited to release the long-sought CD concentrating this program and to move on to the next chapter again. Music is a part of art, and art is a constant accumulation of new discoveries. With this as my theme, I would like to take on many challenges. With this in mind, I would like to present a colorful program titled "New Stories Played (and Told) by Chiharu Taki," and hope to bring you many hours of "discovery" in the program.
