Some guitarists came to Spain in the 1980s.
These passionate guitarists witnessed the music of Segovia and engaged in friendly competition in Madrid.
This is a concert of men who loved the guitar, were loved by the guitar, and dedicated their lives to the guitar.

Six guitarists who know Segovia.
When I saw the title of this concert, I naturally felt nostalgia as well as great emotion, as I am of the same generation as the performers.
The "guitarists I know" here are not merely the superficial fact that I listened to and knew the actual master Segovia as a person I admired. Half a century ago, in the midst of the guitar boom of the late 1970s, young people were impressed by his unprecedented playing.　These are fellow guitarists with a pioneering spirit who came into contact with the maestro and studied in Europe with great hope and courage in order to actually learn his music and playing methods.
The music of the six musicians assembled here, each with a different personality style, evokes the powerful energy of a single goal, the solitary existence of Segovia. I am looking forward to this concert with great anticipation.
