This is the second installment of the "Lecture with Music" which was held last year and received a favorable reception! Performer is Kayoko Murata, a Western-style painter and art historian who presides over "Ryosaku Murata Memorial Atelier M," established in memory of Ryosaku Murata, professor emeritus at Tokyo University of the Arts and the first director of the Museum of Modern Art, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Nozomu Murata, a vocalist with a wide range of musical activities from soloist for religious works to musicals and operatic performances, will perform. Pianoist is Miki Nakazawa, who has worked with Murata for many years.
The lecture will feature Shusaku Endo, Lichtenstein, and Maria Callas, three giant stars. The unique event will be accompanied by music and videos related to the three stars. An exhibition of paintings by members of "Ryosaku Murata Memorial Atelier M" will be held in the foyer at the same time.
