La Folle Journée TOKYO 2023

La Folle Journée was born in the French port city of Nantes in 1995 and arrived in Tokyo in 2005 as La Folle Journée au Japon. 2007 saw over 1 million visitors, and by 2019 a total of 8.66 million people had visited the festival. It has grown to become one of the largest music festivals in the world.

The theme for 2023, the first festival to be held in four years, is "Beethoven!
We will offer three special days packed with the charms of Beethoven, the great composer. The 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth over the past three years will be celebrated with an original program of symphonies, piano concertos, piano trios, piano sonatas, and other masterpieces, as well as homages to Beethoven, unique to La Folle Journée. Please enjoy three days of condensed "Beethoven-animal" entertainment.

For all brass band fans, here it comes! The Siena will start with Beethoven, and will present a full program of works with Beethoven's motifs as well as dance tunes that will get you in the groove. Let's go beyond the century with the cool and fresh sound of brass!
