The Tokyo Metropolitan University Orchestra has been active since 1960, when it was the former Tokyo Metropolitan University!
More than 70 students, mainly Tokyo Metropolitan University students, belong to the orchestra, and all members practice hard while balancing their studies, part-time jobs, etc!
The main piece this time is Brahms Symphony No. 2. For the concerto, we welcome Akari Yoshioka as flute soloist and Kyoko Okuda as harp soloist.
Please enjoy the brilliant sounds of the flute and harp, which are said to be the flower of the orchestra!
