Early Lutheran Vicinium Touring the Church Calendar 7

In the area heavily influenced by Martin Luther, who was excommunicated from the Catholic Church and became a Catholic with his own congregation, many two-voice polyphonies known as "bitinium" were published in the 16th and 17th centuries.
Many of the religious pieces are arranged according to the church calendar, and many are accompanied by biblical quotations, indicating that they were also used in actual liturgies.
In this concert series, we will start from the beginning of the church calendar, the season of Advent, and continue through the year with the Vaticinium according to the church calendar.
Mai Nagai (recorder) and Takuya Sakamoto (baroque violin) will perform the piece.
The "Vicinium" is the smallest polyphony. This will be a very modest concert, but we hope you will join us.
