String Ensemble Workshop for Juniors at Kyoto French Music Academy

As a collaboration with the Propeller Project, violinist Yuko Mori's project for the next generation of children, a workshop for 4th-6th graders will be held.
Participants may attend the Academy's lessons during the period as a special one-day auditing student (auditing schedule will be adjusted in advance according to their wishes). This is a special opportunity for children who have the potential to become future Academy students to discover the benefits of the Academy. Workshops are also open to the general public (advance reservation required).

Lecturer: Yuko Mori
Moved to France in 1970. In 1989, she conceived and opened the Kyoto French Music Academy, and served as its music director until 1999. 1997, she founded the Nagaokakyo Chamber Ensemble, and since 2001 has held the Children's Music Dojo (Propeller Project) twice or three times a year.

Venue: Institut Français Kansai-Kyoto Inabata Hall

Target: 4th to 6th graders (who have already learned violin, viola, or cello)

Capacity: 20 students, on a first-come, first-served basis (Applications will be accepted from January 8. We will close the program as soon as we reach the maximum number of participants)
