Ghirardelli Mina Aoki Violin Recital with Takushi Satoh

■Mina Girardelli Aoki is a unique performer who was admitted to the Chigiana Conservatory in Italy at the age of 14, under the age of admission, and later was a special class student at the Maastricht Conservatory, where she was raised by Mr. Boris Belkin without entering any competitions.
Her well-known piece, "Devil's Trill," is a great highlight of this concert, not only for her technique, which even Mr. Belkin marveled, "I've never seen such a trill before.
She has been a student at the Maastricht Conservatory since last fall (skipping a grade in music theory) and has been a super high school student, double enrolling in both a regular high school and the conservatory, but "I can finally devote myself to music all day long," she says.

His co-star Takuji Sato won the first prize at the Japan Music Competition while still in high school, graduated at the top of his class from Tokyo University of the Arts, and has received many awards, including the first prize at the Schubert International Competition in 2007, the prize at the Queen Elisabeth International Competition in 2010, and the first prize at the Cantù International Competition in 2011.
