Daichi is a self-taught master of human beatboxing, which he started when he was 10 years old. When he was 18 years old, he uploaded a video he made at home to YouTube, which attracted worldwide attention, and now his YouTube channel has over 1.14 million subscribers and more than 340 million views.
In 2012, he became the first Japanese musician to make it to the annual finals of an all-genre performance competition hosted by the prestigious Apollo Theater live house in New York, and returned to Japan with the title of world number three.
In addition, he has been actively performing in Malaysia, Taiwan, and other foreign countries (San Francisco, Chicago, Singapore, etc.).
