Outline]
Wind Orchestra Origin is an amateur brass band based in Tokyo and northwestern Chiba Prefecture that performs mainly original wind band works.

The 4th regular concert will feature "American works circa 1960".

In the first half, the orchestra will perform the Ostwald Prize-winning "Symphonic Suite" by Clifton Williams, whose 100th anniversary will be celebrated in 2023, and "Chorale and Alleluia" by Hanson, Williams' teacher.

In the second half, we will perform "Ode for Trumpet" by Reed, an American composer who is not unknown in the Japanese brass band world, and "Symphony No. 1" by Jaeger, who won the Ostwald Prize as well as the Symphonic Suite and is familiar in Japan (mainly in Novellissima).

The entire orchestra looks forward to seeing you at the concert.

We will also be live-streaming the performance on YouTube. For the latest information, please visit us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
