The Czech Republic has produced a variety of famous composers, among which we featured representative works by Smetana and Dvorak, who are especially famous in Japan. The overture to Smetana's masterpiece "The Sold Bride" is famous for being extremely difficult to perform. Dvorak's cello concerto is the most famous of all cello concertos. We will perform it with young cellists. Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 "New World" is his masterpiece and very famous in Japan. Please look forward to seeing how the young conductor, Mr. Yamagami, who is currently on the market, will cook up this piece.
