Heiligenstadt Philharmonic Orchestra

The 5th Concert

2023/05/21(su.) 13:30 Starting

Katsushika Symphony Hills Mozart HallTokyo

We are a new orchestra launched in Tokyo in 2019 by amateur players who love the fragrant traditional sound of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, which is considered the world's greatest orchestra. The wind and percussion instruments are the same as those of the Vienna Philharmonic: Wienerhorn, Wiener oboe, Wiener Akademie clarinet, and Schneller timpani. Heiligenstadt" is the name of a place in Vienna's 19th district, famous for the paths along which Beethoven walked, the house where he wrote his will, and the Heuriger (local wine tavern). Please feel the breath of this land through our sound.
The 5th concert of the Schubert Symphony Ticles will also feature Schubert's 5th symphony in order, a piece from "Rosamunde", Beethoven's "Maestring Dances" with chamber orchestra, and Mozart's famous G minor symphony. This is a rather challenging program for amateur orchestras, but we dare to approach it with "authenticity" in mind!
