Fumino Uemura returned to Japan in 2020 after seven years of study abroad.
She is highly acclaimed for her performances with orchestras and in chamber music in Japan and abroad.
He is a rare cellist who not only plays the modern cello, but also works on historical performance methods using period instruments, and is active on the front lines in both fields.

She began playing the cello at the age of six.
After graduating from Toho Gakuen High School for Girls (music department), she studied at Toho Gakuen School of Music and Drama, Hamburg University of Music and Drama, Kunsthochschule Basel, and Schola Kantorum Basel (ancient music department).

He won the second prize in the string section of the 5th Tokyo Music Competition. He won the first prize in the string section of the 4th Romanian International Music Competition and the Romanian Embassy Prize. Second prize at the 80th Japan Music Competition.
