Speech by Kanae Nomura (former TV Asahi announcer)

Some of you may remember that an annular solar eclipse was visible in various parts of Japan on May 21, 2012. The annular solar eclipse had been seen in Narashino before that, long before we were born, so everyone was excited about the first major celestial event. Even after the eclipse was over, everyone was excited to show each other the photos they had taken. This is how the "Narashino Astronomy Club" was born.
Since we all happened to be musicians, we sometimes brought our own instruments and sheet music and played various songs, made CDs, and held small concerts.
Recently, I thought about how much time has passed since we formed the group, and to my surprise, 10 years had passed.... So we decided to have a concert at a hall in Narashino to commemorate 10 years of fun! We decided to do a concert at a hall in Narashino to commemorate 10 years of enjoyment.
To be continued...
