The 9th Concert

Orchestra Paraison is an amateur orchestra formed by young alumni and graduates of the Meiji Gakuin University Orchestra.

Ryusuke Kawakami

After graduating from Seijo University with a degree in Law, Ryusuke Kawakami worked as a salaried employee before graduating from the Tokyo College of Music with a degree in Music Composition and Conducting (Conducting).
He won the second prize and a special prize at the 2nd Antal Dorati International Conducting Competition held last year.
He has studied conducting with Kenichiro Kobayashi, Junichi Hirokami, Yasuhiko Shiozawa, Masanori Mikawa, and Yasufumi Tokito; cello with Miraiko Mimori, Ryuzo Yagishima, and Mitsuru Omori; piano with Nobuyuki Jiwaki and Koichi Yamashiro.
Studied music theory under Noriko Hisada.

Soloists
Yuki Honda

Born in Mizuho City, Gifu Prefecture. Graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music after attending Toho Girls' High School (co-ed). Graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music.
Performed in the 35th Yomiuri Chubu Newcomer Concert. Won the Excellence Prize at the 5th MBK Music Contest.
Selected for the 2012 Design K International Music Competition, and received the Encouragement Prize at the 2014 Kariya International Music Competition.
Awarded 2nd Special Prize at Osaka International Music Competition in 2018. Ishikawa Music Academy, Salzburg.
At the Summer International Music Academy of the Mozarteum University of Music, Music Academy in Miyazaki workshop, Pierre Amoyal, and
He attended master classes given by Pierre Amoyal and Pavel Vernikov at the Music Academy in Miyazaki.
In 2014, she received the Encouragement Prize at the same workshop. He has studied with Fujio Kondo and Tsugio Tokunaga.
