We are pleased to introduce Maya Takakuwa, winner of the Gold Prize at the 24th Japan Piano Competition and the 11th Kobe Piano Competition in 2022. She is a pianist who is currently active in the Chubu region of Japan and achieved brilliant results in last year's competitions.
She is a pianist who is expected to continue to excel in the future.
The pieces to be performed this time are "Dream of Love" by Liszt, "Fantasy Impromptu" by Chopin, and "Fantasy and Fugue on a Theme by Bach" by Liszt, all of which you have probably heard at least once.
In addition, Prokofiev's "Satire" and Rachmaninoff's "Elegy," with their mysterious developments, offer beautiful and pleasant melodies.
